This is an intensive 2 day course, designed to prepare applicants for the forthcoming JCST ST3 National Selection for General and Vascular Surgery. The course is designed and run by Surgical Registrars, most of whom have recent first hand experience in the current selection format.
A combination of didactic lectures and interview stations are used to address the competencies required by JCST. Participants will have plenty of time to practice their delivery of responses.
There will be an opportunity for the candidate’s portfolio to be inspected. Each participant will be assigned a mentor who will give direct feedback at the end of the course, based on objective assessment carried at each interview station.
