Interventional Radiology - The Basics (IRTB) - Course Information

Topics and Structure

  • Informal and friendly and highly practical.

  • Practical sessions including equipment overview and equipment stations, Phantom, Nephrostomy, Biopsy and Wet Tank Simulators.

  • Thiel cadaveric trial demonstration.

  • Non-vascular and vascular scenarios.

  • Working in small groups and interactive lectures.

 

 

Lectures

Informal and interactive, covering topics such as Patient Safety, Stents, IVC Filters, Fistula Intervention and Biliary Intervention.

Skills Sessions

The opportunity to practice some of the core skills in Interventional Radiology in a safe, friendly, small group environment.
